About Lydia
I am a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with over 5 years of experience working in practice and industry. I have won awards for my ACA exams and achieved A* and A in GCSE and A-level Maths respectively. I also achieved A* in each of iGCSE Chemistry, Physics and Biology. I take a student-first approach to my tutoring sessions, meaning my goal is to really understand you, how you learn best and what you want to achieve from our time together! I work hard to make our sessions engaging and accessible to provide you with the tools and confidence to excel!

I work closely with my students to understand what topics and concepts you want to improve on, and build tailored lesson plans to support you. I also work closely with you to understand your preferred learning styles to make our sessions accessible and engaging! What a typical lesson might look like: 1. Warm-up (Recap of last week and check in on progress) 2. Session outline (space to let me know if you want to cover anything else) 3. Theory/concept overview 4. Working through a question/problem together 5. Reviewing challenging areas 6. Homework (If you want it!) Sessions are 45-60 minutes depending on students age.
