About Tutor B
I am an experienced Chemistry and Science educator with over 13 years of international teaching experience, supporting students across British, American and IB curricula. I have taught IGCSE and AS-Level Chemistry, AP Chemistry, IB MYP Science and Physics, Combined Science, and GCSE-equivalent Chemistry, working with students across Key Stages 3–5.
My teaching style is student-centered, supportive and results-focused. I understand that students learn at different speeds, so I adapt each lesson to the learner's individual needs. I use clear explanations, real-world examples, guided problem-solving, exam-style questions, practical applications and regular assessment to identify and address learning gaps. My goal is not simply to help students memorize content, but to develop genuine understanding, confidence and independent problem-solving skills.
I have a strong record of improving student achievement. While teaching IGCSE and AS Chemistry, my students achieved a sustained 95% A–B pass rate, and I established a Chemistry Peer Tutoring Program to provide additional academic support.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education & Training, and a Master's degree in Leadership in Education.

I identify each student’s learning gaps and explain difficult concepts in a clear, simple and step-by-step way, using guided problem-solving, retrieval practice, exam-style questions and regular feedback. I support IGCSE/GCSE, AS-Level, AP and IB MYP Chemistry and Science, helping students overcome difficulties, build confidence, strengthen understanding and achieve better examination results.
