I am currently studying Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London and offer mathematics and chemistry lessons for students preparing for GCSE, A-Level, IB, and similar qualifications. Having lived and studied in six different countries, I understand that every student learns differently and adapt my teaching style accordingly.
My teaching philosophy is that mathematics is not about memorising formulae—it is about recognising patterns and developing intuition through practice and experience. Once students begin to see these patterns, difficult problems become much more approachable. I focus on building a strong understanding of fundamental concepts before introducing efficient exam techniques and problem-solving strategies.
Lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether that is improving confidence, catching up with schoolwork, or achieving the highest grades. I encourage students to explain their thinking, as being able to articulate their reasoning is one of the fastest ways to develop genuine understanding and long-term success. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent results but also to help them enjoy learning and become independent, confident problem solvers.
