About Jana
I have a background in Engineering and an MSc in Neuroscience, with a strong background in Mathematics and Biological Sciences. I have spent the last 6 years working in basic science research, assisting with teaching undergraduate medical neuroscience courses, and closely mentoring students to help them apply classroom concepts in real-world scenarios within the lab. I am passionate about helping students build clear understanding, confidence, and strong problem-solving skills.
My tutoring approach is structured, patient, and adaptable. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, logical steps and ensuring students understand the “why” behind the methods, not just the final answers.
I maintain a professional and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively engaging with the work. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, whether that is strengthening foundations, improving grades, or preparing for exams.
