About Tevin
Hello, I am an Accounting and Finance graduate of Durham University that is creative, hard working, very friendly and confident. I Love to play tennis and thoroughly enjoyed performing in student plays for the university society, ’Durham student theatre’. I take interest in details and enjoy interior design and upcycling furniture. I have an archive of poetry I perform and hope to publish as well as writing a couple of songs in my spare time. Relevant work experience Jun 2017- Aug 2018: Discovery summer English language centre working at the highly regarded language school in 2017 and 2018. Based in the Uppingham school centre and at the Winchester college centre for 3 weeks with children ages 11-17. Enriched my thirst for experiencing different culture Learnt to work as part of a team sometimes Responsibilities involved organising and helping lead excursion to places such as London and Birmingham or organising high budget evening activities and multi activities such as windsurfing. Aug 2016 - Apr 2019: St Neots language centre Worked St Neots language centre leading Spanish, Chinese and French students. Served as their activity leader/ tour guide and helped with English learning- helped me deepen my interest in cultural diversity. Participated in tours around Cambridge and London, leading sports days and acting as a counsellor to students. Having known Tevin for a number of years, I always find him interesting, well read and great at articulating ideas, solutions and problems in a clear and concise manner, so would think he is very suitable for tutoring others.
Tevin worked for flightcentre and was hired as part of the graduate programme - The programme ensure participates worked in a range of departments - Each person was assigned a mentor, I was Tevin's Mentor - Travel industry is going through extreme difficulties at this time, and this was the only reason we had to significantly reduce the programme. I can highly recommend Tevin - bright, articulate, hard working and caring
