About Elizabeth
I have been a healthcare professional for twenty years caring for patients at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Hackensack University Medical Center and most recently at Shrewsbury Diagnostic Imaging Center. I have found the most rewarding aspect of my career has been connecting with patients and helping them deal with the mental impact of their health challenges. As a lifelong athlete competing in soccer, softball, marathons and triathlons, yoga has always been a staple in my life. While yoga started for me as a practice to compliment my physical fitness, I have found that as I grow and face more of life’s challenges as a mother and a working parent, yoga has evolved for me as a place to reset and focus on balance, mindfulness, calm and maintaining fitness. It was through formal yoga teacher training that I discovered the full range of benefits that the practice can offer far beyond the studio. At this point in my life, I am focused fully on combining my experiences in healthcare and the practice of yoga to help others unlock their full potential.
