About Quiling
With 15 years of Piano teaching experience, I have guided many students towards becoming confident and expressive musicians. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals, offering lessons that are tailored to their goals, interests, and skill levels.
My teaching approach combines technical training, creativity, and practical application. I believe students learn best when they understand both the theory and the performance aspects of music.
My classes include piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I focus on helping students develop strong fundamentals while encouraging self-expression.
In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard skills and music reading. These complementary areas help students gain a broader understanding of music and become more independent learners.
I am dedicated to creating a supportive and inspiring learning experience where students can thrive, achieve their goals, and develop a lifelong love for music.

My teaching methodology combines communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and student-focused learning. I believe every piano lesson should help students grow both technically and creatively while making learning enjoyable and meaningful.
Students begin by learning proper posture, hand position, finger coordination, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. After building a strong foundation, they continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive performance, and musical interpretation.
I explain concepts using simple language, practical demonstrations, and interactive exercises. Students are encouraged to ask questions, develop regular practice habits, and understand the purpose behind every technique. Personalised feedback keeps students motivated and focused.
Students explore different styles of music and improve creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and expressive playing. These activities help students become confident, expressive, and well-rounded musicians.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard skills, ear training, rhythm exercises, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, performance preparation, and beginner composition. These additional subjects provide students with a complete musical foundation.
My goal is to guide every student with patience and encouragement while helping them achieve their musical goals and develop a lifelong love for piano and music.
