About Roxy
As a passionate Spanish tutor with 9 years of experience, I have successfully guided around 150–200 students towards achieving their language learning goals. My teaching philosophy is based on personalised learning because every student has different strengths, interests, and learning preferences. I work closely with each learner to create lessons that are both effective and enjoyable.
My classes strengthen grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking through practical communication, engaging conversations, interactive activities, and real-world examples. I believe students learn best by actively using the language rather than simply memorising vocabulary or grammar rules.
I strive to create a learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate, ask questions, and practice without fear of making mistakes. Regular progress tracking and constructive feedback allow learners to understand their development while building greater confidence in their abilities.
One of my unique skills is presenting difficult language concepts in a simple and organised way. I customise every lesson according to the student's needs and provide additional learning resources that encourage practice beyond the classroom. Whether learning Spanish for examinations, higher education, career opportunities, travel, or personal interest, I am dedicated to providing patient guidance and personalised instruction that leads to lasting success.

My Spanish teaching philosophy emphasises creating lessons that are engaging, meaningful, and student-focused. Accountability encourages students to set learning goals, monitor their progress, and take ownership of their learning. Integrity ensures lessons are honest, fair, and tailored to each student’s abilities and challenges.
I practice Flexibility, adapting lesson content, exercises, and methods to accommodate different learning styles, proficiency levels, and interests. Communication is central; I encourage conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to help students develop practical fluency and comprehension. A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates milestones, and nurtures confidence.
I also integrate related subjects such as grammar, literature, vocabulary, and cultural studies to provide context, enrich understanding, and support real-world Spanish use. My goal is to help students become confident, fluent, and motivated Spanish speakers.
