About Miriam
I am a Spanish & French native speaker and a qualified language teacher.
I have more than 25 years of experience teaching Spanish and French in all levels and I have been tutoring adults, high school and university students with excellent results.
I am currently a French and Spanish teacher in the UK and I have experience in SQA Highers, A Levels and IB for Spanish and French.
I also work as a Spanish teacher at the University of Edinburgh.
I use different platforms and resources to teach online and motivate my students.
In my lesson I develop the four skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking and I work with a large variety of material: videos, games, articles, grammar and vocabulary exercises etc.
If the student needs to learn about a specific theme, I can perfectly personalise the course.
Cultural awareness is another important aspect in my lessons to complete the learning process of the language.
I also provide my students with exams tips and techniques to get good results.
I have a passion for languages, and I enjoy sharing my passion with my students.
