About Lauren
Hi! My name is Lauren and I am 29 years old. I hold an Education degree as well as a Honours degree. I am a full-time teacher with 5 years of teaching experience. My home language is Afrikaans, but I am also fluent in English.

I am proficient in Afrikaans and English, and can teach in both languages. I approach private tutoring as 50/50 between tutor and student, hence my classes are interactive and encouraging. I use a variety of teaching aids such as worksheets, props, flashcards, powerpoints, etc., depending on the subject and student's grade-level. My lessons are aimed at students from grade 4-9 who struggle to grasp certain subjects or want some extra help to improve their marks. All lessons will be individualized in order to cater for the needs of the learner.
