Typically, I would have the student provide me with or show me their topic of interest. In my experience, students learn better after seeing a “demo” solving of an equation followed by their own attempt, right or wrong, until mastery. With that being said, depending on the circumstances, I could work through general equations or give a lecture on the basics of chemical functions.
