About Albert
Hi guys, my name is Albert! I am currently a 16-year-old student at Caulfield Grammar in Melbourne. I have been playing piano for 10 years now, and participated in countless competitions in Australia and at the international level. As I am nearing Year 11 and 12, I have decided to take on several students. I am really excited to working with you all, and sharing my methodology. I offer lessons that are adaptive to each student’s level, with a strong focus on consistent progress and achieving real results. My teaching methods are informed by my time working with professionals in the industry, and I hold qualifications up to AMEB LMusA and AMusA with distinction. Lessons typically range from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the student’s needs, though for younger learners (ages 8–14, beginner to intermediate level), I usually recommend 30–60 minute sessions to keep them engaging and effective.
I focus on building a strong foundation in essential skills such as hand positioning, note recognition, and simple rhythms, using interactive exercises and clear, easy-to-follow instructions. I also incorporate songs that students enjoy or personally choose, making lessons more engaging, motivating, and tailored to their interests. My approach is ideal for young beginners as well as adults starting their musical journey for the first time—because learning should always feel fun, rewarding, and inspiring!
