About Thomas
Hi, I’m Thomas Datt, an electronic music producer, mentor and artist with more than 20 years of experience in music production. Over the years I’ve released music on respected international labels, performed around the world and worked with producers at many different stages of their development.
Music has been a huge part of my life for decades, and one of the things I enjoy most is helping other producers overcome the challenges that can keep them stuck for years. I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to struggle with unfinished tracks, creative blocks, self-doubt and trying to develop a sound that feels genuinely your own.
Teaching allows me to share the lessons I’ve learned through both success and failure, helping students avoid common mistakes and make faster progress. My goal is to create a supportive environment where producers can build confidence, improve their skills and create music that feels authentic to them.

Hi, I’m Thomas Datt, an international trance producer with more than 20 years of experience producing electronic music, releasing on major labels, and working with producers at different stages of their journey.
My teaching approach is highly practical and focused on real-world application rather than endless theory. Rather than simply showing you where buttons are in FL Studio, I help you understand why production decisions work and how to apply them in your own music.
Lessons are tailored to your current level, goals and challenges. Whether you’re completely new to production, struggling to finish tracks, looking to improve your mixing, or trying to develop your own sound, we work directly on your music and focus on the areas that will create the biggest improvement.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 120 minutes and may cover topics such as:
• FL Studio workflow
• Arrangement and song structure
• Sound design
• Mixing and balance
• Creative direction
• Workflow and productivity
• Finishing tracks consistently
• Developing a unique artistic identity
I teach beginner, intermediate and advanced producers, with a particular focus on electronic music, trance, progressive, melodic and atmospheric styles.
My goal is not just to help you make a better track today, but to help you become a more confident and independent producer long term.
