About Lilia
I have always known I wanted to teach in some way. I have always enjoyed mentoring and it only felt natural that tutoring would be the next step. If everything goes to plan, in the far future I will be a cool professor somewhere, but for now I am excited to delve into and spend time curating teaching experience as a tutor.

Hi! I’m Lilia. I’m currently a student at the University of Cambridge who studies archaeology with a focus on the scientific side. Anatomy and biology are my passions. I’m originally from Alabama where I started my tutoring journey. I like to focus on really understanding topics at your own pace as opposed to simply memorising them. The body is a beautifully designed machine in which all parts interconnect. As long as you understand the basics of one thing a lot can follow. I also like to delve into specific learning styles and techniques that suit each person. Most of my lessons will follow what you might expect to be in a uni lecture because that’s what I used to do when I practised debate and law in high school. Worksheets will probably be provided to go along and notes sheets.
