Introspective and kind educational professional that creates individualized lesson plans based on students strengths and desired areas for improvement. With over 20 years of experience, working with grades from kindergarten to college, students are guided in areas of literacy from reading to writing using a variety of methodologies. Lessons may include writing exercises, oral and written discussions, film and educational videos, flash cards, games, songs, texts, classic and contemporary novels, quizzes and other innovative methods. Students are partners in their educational experience and are expected to share input on what methods they enjoy most or feel are most effective. Lessons are fluid with the primary goal to engage students in a way that best supports their learning.
