About Faye
I am a professional piano tutor with extensive experience teaching students of all ages and levels. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music, giving me strong knowledge in theory, technique, and performance. I have taught beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students preparing for exams, recitals, and competitions. My lessons are student-centered and personalized, tailored to each learner’s goals, pace, and learning style. I use real-life examples and case studies to make rhythm, melody, and harmony practical and relatable. Motivation is a key part of my teaching, and I encourage students to set goals, monitor progress, and celebrate achievements. Problem-solving is integrated into lessons to strengthen critical thinking and independence. I emphasize integrity, maintaining a safe, honest, and supportive learning environment. I am flexible, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, abilities, and objectives. Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic composition.
