About William
I work as an Investment Consultant in the Bay Area and have a B.S. in Economics and Mathematics from San Francisco State University, along with graduate coursework from Cornell and the University of Colorado Denver. My work involves explaining complex financial concepts to people every day, so breaking down hard material clearly is something I do constantly, not just occasionally. I know how to meet someone where they’re at and build from there.

I teach by figuring out exactly where you’re getting stuck, not just running through problems. Once I know the gap, we go back and rebuild the concept from there until it actually makes sense, not just enough to pass a quiz. I change my approach based on how you learn best, use real examples instead of abstract ones, and check in along the way so we’re not guessing whether it clicked.
