About Wasim
My name is Wasim Jacobs, I developed a love for seeking and sharing knowledge during my time memorizing the Qur’an, then further dedicating myself to seeking knowledge connected to the Qur’an and the deen after having completed the memorization of the Qur’an. Teaching, for me, is not simply a profession but a responsibility and a means of benefiting others through what Allah has allowed me to learn.
My interest in teaching comes from my own journey as a student. I have experienced the impact of patient, compassionate teachers who taught with wisdom and understanding, and I strive to reflect those same qualities in my own teaching. I find great fulfillment in helping students grow, whether that is memorizing the Qur’an, strengthening their revision, understanding Arabic, or building a solid foundation in fiqh and Islamic studies.

My teaching style is calm, patient, and motivating. I believe that every student learns differently, so I work closely with each student at their own pace, ensuring steady progress without unnecessary pressure. I am firm when needed but never harsh, and I strive to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment.
My methodology is inspired by the teaching approaches of my own teachers, from whom I have benefited greatly, as well as the wisdom and mercy found in the teaching methods of our beloved Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ. My aim is not only to help students gain knowledge, but to develop confidence, consistency, and a genuine love for learning the dīn.
I welcome students of all ages and backgrounds who are serious about improving their understanding and practice of Islam.
