About Gabriele
I am a native Italian from the beautiful city of Rome. After spending 11 years in San Diego, California, where I graduated in Spanish literature and linguistics, and had been teaching Italian and Spanish in a variety of roles in local colleges and universities, I moved to Portsmouth, UK, where I now live and work. Here in England I have obtained my teaching qualifications, DTLLS (Diploma in Teaching in the Long-Life Learning Sector), and just completed an MA in translation studies, which have further reinforced my linguistic knowledge of the Italian and Spanish languages and cultures. My teaching experience has so far been nothing but rewarding, thanks also to its challenges and continuous opportunities for improvement.

Lessons are tailored towards immediate language production according to different levels of ability and personal learning preferences and needs. I teach in a variety of environments, which can include a local café or within the comfort of your residence. I will provide all the academic material and a detailed scheme of work that would guarantee personal learning and enjoyment. Duration of lessons is typically an hour long but it could be extended to 2 hours upon request.
