About Gerald
I have taught math, science, English, and standardized test prep for the last 15 years.
I have taught from very young children just forming words and ideas about numbers and math all the way through teaching several courses in high level math at the University of Montana Missoula where I graduated with honors and received a cash prize for being “the best student teacher in the college.”
I am an expert at seeing a student and quickly ascertaining their needs and understanding of a subject. I have taken many upper-division university courses in teaching theory and I feel like I know what I’m doing. :)
Anyway, I moved into the tech sector after school writing software for the government, but I still love teaching! I guess it’s just in my genes.

Gerald makes it easier to understand science concepts that the textbook doesn't explain very well. He breaks down big concepts into easy to digest ideas. Highly recommend him as a tutor.
