I work with student ages 14+ through college, and beyond, on becoming talented writers.
Whether it’s getting into top schools, being nationally published, or writing for professional contexts — I’ve been there and believe these opportunities would be lucky to have you as well.

My philosophy is rooted in building love and curiosity for the subject, making sure you enjoy your growth, and using examples and compassionate coaching to help you find your authorial voice.

MY APPROACH
A typical lesson will start with alignment on the goals of the session.
We will then discuss your ideas, approaches, qualms, and concerns.
Depending on the challenge, we can deep-dive into:
- READING: An in-depth analysis and discussion of a text
- BRAINSTORMING: A generative session about writing topics
- WRITING: A workshopping session focused on the structure, efficacy, and quality of your writing
- STRATEGY: An advanced conversation about the strategic goals of your writing and how to write for professional contexts and applications
