Hi! I'm Jason, and I've been tutoring Algebra for 4 years. I know that math is hard, so every step of the way we'll work through the hard stuff until it's easy with kindness in every step! :)

About Jason
I began tutoring algebra in high school for two years with the National Honor Society, then attended community college, where I received two levels of tutoring training accreditation (this consists of attending many trainings on how to improve as a tutor). I then transferred to university, where I tutored before becoming a teacher's assistant for algebra 1, where I taught 28 college students.

COLLEGE ALGEBRA 1
SO HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Intro- we'll have a little check-in to see how you're doing.
2. Outline- you'll walk me through the different types of problems you want to go over, and we'll prioritize the important ones.
3. Work Sesh- we'll work through as many problems as we can, with breaks as you need them.
4. Wrap up- we'll go over what we learned to finish out the sesh!
MY PHILOSOPHY:
It is my sincerest hope that learning should be fun for everyone. I realize there's a lot of ground to cover before that happens, but I'm gonna try. I think the way to do that is to talk to students with the value they deserve as people, then to teach them a new skill through their hard work so they can see that they are capable. I think that feeling of accomplishment is wonderful, and I want to see every student of mine have that "AH-HA!" moment.
