About the lesson

Java Programming for Beginners.

A practical introductory course that guides learners from writing their first Java programme to understanding object-oriented programming and implementing common algorithms in Java.

Recommended background: completion of the Programming Fundamentals course or basic algorithmic thinking skills.

Approx. 30 hrs + exercises.

• Basic data types and variables
• Operators, conditions and loops
• Strings and arrays
• Procedures and functions
• Classes and objects
• Inheritance and object-oriented concepts
