About Melba
"Friendly and structured instruction defines my approach to the instrument. 13 years of experience informs the way I share my knowledge. My Master of Music degree from the Royal College of Music provides a strong foundation for the technical work we do together.
Students often appreciate how I blend pop and contemporary styles with classical repertoire. We spend time on hand independence, scales, and arpeggios to build real strength. I also enjoy helping pupils master chord voicing and music theory while maintaining perfect posture. Outside the studio, I spend my time exploring new arrangements."

"The first session starts with the crisp, clean sound of a perfectly tuned piano. My Royal College of Music training ensures that we focus on memorisation techniques that actually stick over time.
I guide you through complex jazz improvisation and hand position adjustments with a steady hand. Developing your ability to play custom sheet music arrangements for songs you choose remains a top priority during our 10 segments of study.
I maintain a 6.0 rating for my clear communication and consistent results. You will find that our practice sessions move quickly as we iterate on your technique. Achieving technical goals feels quite rewarding when you can hear the audible progress in every single scale or chord sequence we tackle together."
