About Joseph
I’ve been playing tennis since I was 4 and currently train 4–5 times a week, so it’s genuinely been a huge part of my life growing up. I’m in 6th form at Westminster School. I’ve taught two friends tennis from complete beginner level through to playing full rallies and matches, and I’ve assisted coaching a group session at a local park — both experiences I loved, especially working with kids and seeing their confidence grow. I’m easygoing and friendly, but I take real pride in doing things properly, so you’ll always get a lesson with real thought behind it.

I make sure every lesson is fun first — especially with younger kids, who learn best when they’re smiling and enjoying themselves rather than feeling pressured. I’m patient, encouraging, and genuinely good at putting nervous beginners at ease, while still keeping things structured and purposeful. I take real pride in seeing progress, so sessions are planned properly around fundamentals — grip, footwork, and stroke technique — building up to rallies, serves, and match play. Friendly and approachable, but professional: you’ll always get a lesson that’s been thought through, not just turning up and hitting balls.

Perfect! My 10-year old, who has some experience with tennis, reported he had “great fun” with Joseph and is super eager to continue learning with him. Joseph is knowledgeable, friendly, and a terrific teacher!

A close friend of mine, Joseph has been frankly angelic in spending his time (and incredible patience) over the years with me on the tennis court, working with me from the beginning of my tennis journey, building my skill and technique and crafting me into a player that I can very gratefully say is closer and closer to his high level and confidence on the court every day. He is incredibly talented and is always patient and flexible, and above all an excellent teacher with his brilliant knowledge of the game and self-designed player-specific on court exercises. I would recommend him to all, and anyone who loves tennis would be very lucky to have him as their coach.

Joseph is a rare tennis prodigy, possessing remarkable talent at such a young age. He gives genuinely useful feedback and has dedicatedly coached me throughout my tennis career, helping me reach ATP ranked 129 U18s in the UK.
Wow! I have had two brilliant coaches in my career which got me to semi pro standard and it is my honour to say Joseph was one and has taught me for many years. He has always been so flexible with timings and fully understands my other commitments. He has travelled with me to France, Cornwall and Italy as well as our regular lessons in West London. He has come to all my tournaments to support me and was there when I got a Wimbledon Juniors invite (though I then got injured). I am so jealous of anyone who gets to be taught by Joseph every day I am injured. I understand he comes from a long line of talented tennis players and it is heart warming to hear him recount his matches against his father and that through his high level can now beat him. He is so patient with me even when I used to repeatedly hit the ball into the net and his mathematical expertise makes him understand the court like no others when he coaches me. If you are to have Joseph you are one in a million and will never go back!!!!!!
