About Lauren
I am a licensed English Language Arts teacher with a Master’s degree in Educational Technology and experience working with students across grades K–12. I am passionate about helping students grow in confidence while strengthening their reading, writing, grammar, and critical thinking skills. My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and personalized to meet each student’s individual learning style and academic goals. I create engaging lessons that combine clear instruction, guided practice, and constructive feedback to help students succeed both in and out of the classroom. Whether a student needs help with essay writing, literature analysis, test preparation, reading comprehension, or overall study skills, I strive to provide a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their abilities. My classroom and tutoring experience allow me to adapt lessons for a wide range of ages, skill levels, and learning needs while maintaining high expectations and professionalism.

As a licensed ELA teacher with a Master’s degree in Educational Technology, I use a student-centered teaching approach that focuses on building confidence, strengthening foundational skills, and adapting instruction to each student’s individual learning style and goals. I combine direct instruction, guided practice, discussion, and interactive activities to help students improve reading comprehension, writing, grammar, literary analysis, organization, and test-taking strategies while encouraging critical thinking and creativity. A typical lesson includes reviewing previous skills, introducing targeted instruction, working through examples together, and providing independent practice with support and feedback. My experience teaching students across grades K–12 allows me to tailor lessons for different ages, ability levels, and learning needs, whether students need extra support, enrichment, reading intervention, essay help, or standardized test preparation. I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing skills, and gaining confidence in English Language Arts.
