Methodology

I'm patient, extremely understanding and teach in a tailored manner dependent on how my student best learns, whether that's practically, verbally, through writing and by listening and we will work out the best method of laying out our lessons.

I taught a class of primary school aged children the recorder and group music for 2 years at East Herts Music Centre.

My A Levels were in Music, History and English Literature and I attended additional classes in order to secure my grades so I have a very good understanding of different teaching methods. I have 9 GCSE's ranging from A*-B grades.

My degree is in Music, I achieved a 2:1 at Lancaster University.

Experience

I completed my degree in Music at Lancaster University and have Grade 8 in both Flute and Alto Saxophone and my Grade 5 Music Theory. I specialise in teaching early and intermediate flute, descant recorder and alto saxophone and music theory. I'm proficient in teaching History, English Literature and Music up to A Level, proficient in teaching Maths and English for primary children and extremely helpful when it comes to University and Job advice.

I've worked in Sales for the past 5 years and have had to host training sessions with adults in regards to selling and training them on new IT Technologies. I have currently Co-Founded a business which I work on as well as tutoring.

I have Co-Founded a self-funded Online Vegan Marketplace, hiring and working with a Team of Developers to build the platform. I am working part time on building the social media following via means of marketing, onboarding new business partners and managing the finances through QuickBooks.

March 2017 – December 2018 Account Manager, Cisilion, London
I joined Cisilion as an Account Manager, 4 of my previous customers moved with me and continued spend with me at Cisilion. I also brought on several multi-million and billionaire revenue new customers through marketing and cold calling and was trusted to look after 10 pre-existing Cisilion accounts. Highlights:
• I hit my annual target in my first year of Cisilion which ran May 2017-April 2018.
• I was the first person within Cisilion to sell a combination of Cisco AMP and Umbrella, upselling with Professional Services into a London-based new business multi-million pound shipping firm at 35% margin.
• I sold an entire infrastructure refresh including servers, storage, networking and Professional Services into a London-based software company.
• I sold a £100k training package for Skype for Business and End User Adoption into a multi-billionaire pound London-based new business insurance firm at 50% margin.
• I was the first person at Cisilion to sell Microsoft Surface as a Service Professional Services into a multi-million pound London-based law firm.
• I consistently sold Cisco Collaboration and Professional Services into another multi-million pound new business London-based law firm.
• I worked with the Finance Team to send invoices, chase payments and manage new vendors.

I have very good experience working with small to large companies and building relationships with C-Levels and below, selling a whole range of different technologies such as Wireless, Networking, Security, Server, Storage, Collaboration and End User Compute with vendors such as Cisco, HP, Dell EMC, Lenovo and I upsold Professional Services into each of my opportunities.

After overachieving consistently throughout 2016, I was promoted to Senior Account Manager with the additional promotion of Team Leader which was based around developing other members of the team and achieving target as a team.


September 2015 – December 2016 Associate Account Manager, MBA IT, London
I was promoted to an Associate Account Manager where my target tripled from my Graduate role and I was trusted to develop and increase spend and whitespace within 3 historic MBA accounts (Media, Law, Health). I have successfully increased whitespace spend within those 3 accounts (one becoming one of the company’s top 5 GP accounts) whilst still focussing on targeting new business. I have opened 3 new accounts this year (Consulting and Travel sectors) and I have been looking after and been the sole manager of 10 pre-existing accounts, 6 of which I opened in 2015 and 2016.

I achieved my yearly target of £130k Gross Profit within the first 6 months of the year, and I have overachieved my target every quarter:
Q1: Target = £35k / Achievement = £75k
Q2: Target = £35k / Achievement = £60k
Q3: Target = £30k / Achievement = £44k
Q4: Target = 30k / Achievement = £64k

I have created trusted relationships with my entire account base to become an extension of their IT team by:
• Building relationships with all members of the IT team
• Putting forward a variety of relevant vendors to scope out solutions
• Narrowing down the applicable options
• Negotiating and selecting the most suitable vendor

This has lead to winning business and projects, and has also involved working closely with vendors and distribution to develop the opportunity and negotiate supported pricing. I have also put time into building relationships and working closely with my internal Software and Storage team to manage and develop further opportunities with my customers.

My rapport and relationship building skills have meant that I have been successfully managing and winning projects, at an average 24% margin, whilst always ensuring thorough post-sales management so the customer has a seamless end-to-end solution.

September 2014 - August 2015 Graduate Account Manager, MBA IT, London
I joined MBA IT as a Graduate Account Manager, specifically tasked to:
• Cold call and open new business accounts
• Achieve my targets with said accounts
• Grow and develop these accounts into consistent ‘target smashers’

I opened 10 new business accounts within the Law, Finance, Travel, Property and Consulting sectors, selling software, hardware and services into each account and building relationships with IT Managers, Heads of IT, Infrastructure Managers, scoping solutions and working on projects as an integral member of their team. I built up relationships with distribution and vendors in this time to win leads and develop opportunities within my accounts into winning projects. My target was £42k for the year and I achieved £50k.

October 2013 - June 2014 Usher and Volunteer, Live at LICA, Lancaster
Working with Lancaster Institute for the Arts’ events that involve local and world-renowned artists, I gained a vast amount of insight into event management through meeting and engaging with the Live at LICA team, as well as the event artists. Tasks for the events included promotion and advertising in town and on campus, selling box office tickets and event programmes, building rapport with audience members and persuading them to fill out questionnaires about Live at LICA and providing friendly customer service. I gained networking, communication and sale skills through this work experience.

June 2013 - September 2013 Fundraiser, Champions Life Academy, Kent
During the summer of 2013, I was part of an 11-week door-to-door fundraising programme, where I was the top fundraiser in my region and in the top 10 of the company, successfully creating long-term donors for charity. During the summer, I worked 50-hour weeks, so time management and organisational skills were key, as well as a positive mental attitude throughout the job. I worked within a region and team and frequently led my team and motivated them as well as myself to achieve high goals. It was emotionally, mentally and physically challenging, but by setting and achieving high targets, I earned Gold Award, which was 90+ sign ups over the summer, I won the company Plate competition, achieving the most donors in a 3-round knock out competition that all the fundraisers in the company took part in. I also achieved the 2nd Wind Award, involving exceeding the number of sign ups I received in the first half of the summer by the second half.

As a representative for the online job board Milkround, I registered university students through online marketing, using social media, especially Facebook and I set myself high targets to successfully beat registration targets.

July 2009 - December 2012 Founder, Sultry Scents, London
I set up my own small business on eBay, selling perfumes, aftershaves and other beauty products to a wide customer base, which required market research for prices to make a profit and improve overheads, reaching target consumers to create returning customers and aimed to achieve high goals. I negotiated with my employers at Niti Pharmacy on a batch of products that were testers or weren’t selling as well and was able to achieve an average yearly profit margin of 150%.
