About Ajax
Hi! I'm Ajax, my pronouns are they/he. I'm an experienced illustrator with a BA(hons) Degree in Illustration with a Design Foundation Year. My primary illustration style is heavily inspired by anime and manga, though I also work in a semi-realistic style especially with observational drawings and life drawing. I have experience working in both Traditional and Digital formats, primarily with graphite (pencils), inks, gouache and acrylic paint, ClipStudio Paint, and Procreate.

I teach online, or in-person if you're based in the Bristol area. I adjust my methods to my students but generally allow the students' own creativity to direct the sessions, providing students with briefs which are similar in content to academic Art studies whilst allowing plenty of room for their brains to work in their own way, allowing every student to achieve their best.
I can also tailor lessons' subject matter to be closely aligned with a student's specific interests, leading to maintained interest and a prolonged willingness to practise.
