About Monica

Knitting has been a steady, grounding hobby of mine for years — something I come back to again and again because there's nothing quite like turning a ball of yarn into something you made with your own hands. I still remember what it felt like to learn, including the frustrating parts, and that's exactly why I love teaching beginners. There's something really special about helping someone finish their very first scarf.

About the lesson

I teach knitting the way I wish someone had taught me — slowly, patiently, and with a lot of repetition until a technique really clicks. Every lesson is hands-on: you'll have needles and yarn in your hands from day one, working toward something real rather than just practicing in the abstract.

A typical lesson builds step by step — casting on, learning the basic knit and purl stitches, then gradually working toward your first real project, a scarf, which lets you practice consistently while seeing visible progress. I'll check in often to catch small mistakes early, before they become frustrating later on.

What sets me apart is years of real knitting experience combined with genuine patience for beginners — I remember what it's like to be confused by a pattern or a dropped stitch, and I teach with that in mind.

These lessons are for complete beginners with no prior knitting experience who want to learn a relaxing, rewarding hobby and finish their first real project.
