As a mom, student, and educator, I bring both patience and creativity to my lessons. I have a minor in French Language and Literature, over a decade of personal passion and self-learning of the language, and a love for making learning fun and engaging. My Approach to Teaching:
I specialize in introducing young children to French in a fun, interactive and engaging way. My lessons focus on foundational vocabulary such as colors, numbers, animals, family members and greetings using a mix of songs, games, storytelling and creative activities to make learning memorable and enjoyable.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson begins with presenting the theme and a warm-up song or greeting activity to get students comfortable with speaking. We then introduce new vocabulary words through visuals and interactive exercises, followed by a game or activity to reinforce the words in context. We wrap up with a review and a fun closing song or rhyme to help children remember what they've learned.
What Sets Me Apart:
I combine my academic background in French Language and Literature with over a decade of personal passion for the language. As a young mom, my teaching style is very playful yet structured, creating a safe space for children to feel excited about participating. I believe in learning through joy, which builds not just vocabulary but confidence and a love for the language.

My lessons are designed for young beginners (ages 5-9) who are just starting to explore their first French words. Whether your child is learning for fun, school support, or to connect with the French-speaking culture, I create my learning environments to be tailored to their needs.
