About Martha
I am at univeristy studying French Studies with Chinese. I achieved a first in my first year and I am looking forward to continuing developing my skills. I earned an A* in my French and Spanish A-levels and would love to share my knowledge. Although I am new to tutoring, I have had experience working with students whilst being the President of the Modern Languages Society at High School, and being a mentor in my high school's extra-curricular programme for younger students.

I would love to tutor anyone going through GCSEs, or any student wanting some extra practice or guidance. I would ensure to structure my classes around my student's needs, whether this be a specific piece of homework, or working on a specific skill. I want to place emphasis on application of language skills, as I think that in schools, languages become something that is only used within a classroom, and the use of languages in the real world becomes lost. Studying languages is difficult and it can be very disheartening, so I would like to make sure that when practising with my student, we work on learning to communicate with existing skills, as well as building vocabulary and exam techniques.
