About Poppy
I have been a qualified teacher for two years now and I love sharing my passion for languages with my students.
I have loved French and Italian from the age of 11, so much so that I kept studying them, through my GCSEs to A levels, to university and finally to my PGCE training.
At the University of Liverpool I studied both languages equally and was able to split my year abroad between Paris and Brescia in Lombardy. This year was what solidified my love for speaking my languages and it was what made me want to be a teacher.
I have tutored alongside my job as a teacher and have had some very successful students, some studying for personal development, to pass their GCSEs or to improve an A level skill.
I would love to help you on your language learning journey whatever level that may be.

In our lessons we will talk as much language as we can to build your confidence and nurture your curiosity relating to foreign languages and cultures.
