About Laurence
I've played tennis most of my life and it's my passion. I have definitely had moments where I've played and almost hated it too, I think everyone has been there!
I've been to a lot of tennis tournaments around the world and hope one day to make it to the Australian Open!
I'm also a qualified Pickleball coach. Before I moved into work in tennis and table tennis, I was a full time Marine Scientist, working for the university and the government.

I believe everyone can improve, whatever their level. There is hope to fix that forehand, backhand slice or that second serve!
I can do video analysis for you, a summary or your current game. Give you exercises to improve at home and in your own time and a plan for how you can reach that next level.
I can help you set goals and help you achieve them. My online coaching is aimed at players who are playing tennis post beginners and have at least a rudimentary grasp on the main tennis strokes. I also coach more advanced players and can fix little niggles in your strokes to improve your consistency, your power or your spin.
In person my lessons are from 30 minutes to 1.5hrs. Online, it depends what you need, so get in touch first.
My teaching style: I think I'm kind and quiet. I want to hear what you need from me, I will not lecture or criticise you. My goal is to make you feel better and more confident on the court so you enjoy your time playing tennis.
I've been coaching for almost 10 years and have been a head club coach for almost 5 years. I'm a PTR and ITF - via Tennis Ireland Level 2 coach.
