About Ivy
I am currently studying for my bachelors degree in Fine Arts (Film, Screen and New Media)/ Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, with a GPA of 6.75. Originally from the Gold Coast, I'm an avid lover of art, literature and music. Although I now study film, I continue to write creatively and analytically for my university's student magazine 'Glass'.
I graduated from Varsity College in 2021 with an ATAR of 97.00. During high school, I was school captain and involved in subjects ranging from Physics and Math Specialist to Film and Drama. I was awarded the top of English, Film and Drama across the grade, achieving close to 100% in each subject.
I'm involved in a lot of volunteer work across film festivals and art scenes, as well as within the Gold Coast Debating society.
Although I'm just starting out as a tutor, my priority in teaching is to help the student develop writing and analysis skills, as well as study skills, that they can apply across all their subjects.

- I tutor based on the needs of the student and their style of learning. My preferred method of teaching focuses on the interpretation of literary texts, developing skill sets and practice, therefore my approach to tutoring will likely involve some independent work on the part of the student outside of lessons.
- I offer lessons ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours in length and at whichever intervals suit.
- I am just starting out as a tutor after graduating high school last year, however, I have experience working with students as a debating adjudicator and school captain.
- My lessons are offered to all ages and levels of students and I can alter my lessons as required.
