About Subhashri
I have been giving lessons to students of all ages, (5 years to adult learners) for the past 10 years. In this time, I have taken breaks to focus on my own education, however I have taught over 50 students in this time. I have achieved great results from one-on-one tutoring, as well as virtual tutoring. Many of my students are extremely happy with their results following tutoring session from me, many achieving at least a B grade.
I don't think you can jump from a D grade to an A grade after 2 lessons, but after having worked with some students throughout a semester or term, I've seen grades go up 2 or 3 stages! The way I set goals makes them realistic and achievable in a way that the student doesn't feel overwhelmed or discouraged.

I'm a law graduate based in the Midlands, UK. I am in the process of completing my LPC and I work full time in the compliance/trade/regulation sector. I have worked full time in practice for just over 2 years, and this has enabled me to better understand how the law works in practice.
I'm a very patient individual and have always loved helping others. I have tutored before, and have had great results. I don't have a specific technique or lesson structure as I base this on each individual pupil. I believe everyone learns differently and will therefore learn using different methods. I am very comfortable creating pop quizzes, and mini tests, and I have great communications skills. I'm very open-minded and friendly, and I believe that is why students are able to learn so easily from me.
I understand that sometimes the simple things seem ridiculously difficult, and I aim to simplify these things as best I can! I believe setting out what is not clear, and structuring it to learn in sections is the best way forward, and has worked for me numerous times.
My past lessons have varied, however I've learnt to create and use the following methods to aid the process:

- mind maps
- flow charts
- pop quizzes
- charting
- summary reviews
- real life examples
I'm quite flexible with regard to timing of lessons, and I'm happy to try accommodate students based on their schedule. Personally, I always worked better at night time, and I'm sure there are many students out there that feel the same.

Details
The above rates are guidelines only, and my final rate will be based on the student's level, term time/exam time tuition, subject etc. I am willing to tutor at the pupils house, via Skype or other video chat platform, or a public location, and will not charge any travel fees.
