About Ruqayah
I am a Law student, currently on a gap year after completing my first year of Law at the University of Birmingham. I have experience in conducting one-to-one lessons in both English and Geography from mentoring schemes I took part in during sixth form. I can offer my help to sixth formers and GCSE's students in English Literature, whether it may be on assisting with analysing a text, or providing advice on essay writing skills.

My teaching method starts with finding out where the student is struggling, then creating resources based on the exam board specification and text specific notes to help develop their understanding of both the topic area and the requirement by the exam board. I find this is the most impactful way to improve the quality of the student's work.
