To be a great tutor, I believe you must have patience and respectful tone. It is essential to make sure the student doesn't feel belittled and to try to see where the problem lies in the understanding. I have always been good at Math from my GSEC honours and College degree and even in College my lecturer tried to persuade me into continuing the subject but I couldn't, because of my career path. I would try to use the knowledge to prepare students for GSEC so they can achieve like I did, going through each subject carefully. I am patient, kind and respectful and will try to show that through my lessons.
I have been succeeding in Maths since High School and also in College. I received a grade 'A' or '1' in Maths for my GSEC exam in 2013 and I performed well in college as well receiving grade 'A'. I have sometimes had teachers commend me for my performance in Maths and had fellow classmates sometimes ask me to help them with Maths homework and tutor them in our spare time. One of my friends even suggested that I should be a Maths teacher. I am new to giving lessons and would love to help the student with anything that they may need help with.
