About Jenny
I have many years of experience studying, performing, teaching, and composing music. I have also experience at various music festivals in Europe and the United States as the staff and also as a performer. I have written a published book on music as well. I am well-versed in music of all genres, with a trained background in classical music. I am well-versed in ad lib pop, R&B, soft rock, easy listening, and hip hop music as well. I can also teach songs in Korean such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for kids or Arirang (a cultural Korean folk song). At the end of the lesson, you will most likely have learned something about music to add to your arsenal or something new about music.

I try to make my teaching lessons fun, interactive, and enjoyable with games and activities. I hold a master's degree from the Claremont Colleges in Music. My youngest student was a two-year-old who learned the basics of music such as clef signs and rhythm. My oldest student was a retired elderly person who wanted to learn aspects of music theory and history. I try to provide a breadth of knowledge regarding music so that you (the student) can become a well-rounded musician, learner, or connoisseur. I teach students of all ages and levels. I am also educated in some aspects of ethnomusicology (world music) and world instruments. I hope to inform you of the world of possibilities that music can create.
