About Prateek
I am an Architect and happen to also have 4 years of experience as a Freelance Graphic Designer. I love to create and I love to teach. I am a self taught Photoshop expert and can make you one if you follow along with dedication. I will be your guide and mentor during and even after the course. I always emphasize on learning concepts more than steps so that you can come up with methods of your own. I have taught various students on other platforms and at my house.

My first step will be to make you aware of the interface and functionality of the software and how it is different from a software like Illustrator or something similar. I will teach you to customize your interface and then begin making you familiar with file types, color modes, concepts of image colors, size and resolution. Then we will start learning about layers, each menu and tools with various examples. After being familiar with basic tools, we will cover the concept of masking and its uses. We will move to the intermediate level with blending modes, adjustment layers and filters. We will do various editing, retouching and graphic design exercises. In the advanced mode, we will learn about application of various features in conjunction and look to solve real world problems and make advanced edits. Along every step, it will be my priority to clear any doubts you would have and make sure that you get a good practice of doing it yourself. I will give you various exercises where you would be needed to think of ways of achieving a certain task and explain your thought process behind it. This way, I aim to develop a strong understanding and application of concepts which would last a lifetime, unlike merely mugging up steps. I aim to make it a friendly and pleasant experience for both of us and would give it my all towards achieving it.
