About Widi
I was graduated in Faculty of Humanities in University of Indonesia, I have experience in the field of art since I was in junior high school. My basic dance skill is Javanese classical dance (Solo/SUrakarta). After that I developed my dancing skills by exploring other region of Nusantara dances, namely Jogja Classical dance, Betawi dance, Sundanese, Balinese, Malay (Sumatra and Kalimantan), Dayak (Kalimantan). I taught dance to elementary school students and college students, for about 1.5 years, as well as being a director and choreographer for staging drama and dance. I also studied the Dayak Kalimantan dance directly where it developed, I had lived in East Kalimantan for 3.5 months. Besides that, I also studied the classical style of Jogja directly in the Jogja area for 5 months and now I am still continuing.

The teaching method that I will apply in this dance class is to prioritize interactions with course participants. I as a teacher must adjust the abilities of the participants when giving learning material, because each person's body has different portions. By prioritizing two-way interactions, I hope to be able to understand each other, so that participants feel comfortable, have fun and understand what he / they will learn.
