About Moselle
Hi, I'm Moselle! I'm a passionate teaching and performing artist with extensive experience in ballet. I have had the honor of training (and being offered opportunities) at some of the most prestigious classical ballet institutions in the United States. Outside of my training, I have professional dance experience as well as teaching experience in the ballet industry. Additionally, I am the founder of a professional ballet company. All of these experiences inform how I teach and give me a wealth of knowledge to draw from in my lessons. I see teaching as an extension of my practice as an artist. My experiences inform my teaching, and teaching feeds my artistry.
I love working with students from all walks of life, with various levels of experience in ballet.

I specialize in ballet with experience in teaching classical ballet technique, pre-pointe preparation, pointe work, as well as neoclassical/contemporary ballet choreography and cross-training inspired by yoga/pilates/floor-barre.
I have experience teaching all ages (2- adult) and skill levels. My goal in teaching online is to provide accessible, high-quality, training for those who want to learn ballet. Whether you are a student looking to go pro or an adult who never got the chance to learn ballet as a child, I would be honored to be your teacher!
Together, we can evaluate your current skill level, paired with your goals, to develop a plan for our lessons. Lessons are completely customized to your needs.
Here are some reasons to choose me as your ballet instructor:
○ Strong understanding of ballet and creative movement pedagogy
○ Excellent artistry as a teacher and performer
○ Strong understanding of trauma-informed/sensitive instruction, with a strong desire to create
warm, nurturing spaces for dancers
○ Performance and teaching skills in multiple dance genres (including: ballet, creative movement,
jazz, modern, and contemporary)
○ Has earned markers of success in the field of ballet (including prestigious pre-professional
training and professional dance credits)
○ Holds a relevant Associate of Arts (including coursework in psychology, nutrition, and art), while
working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts and Performance (including
coursework in art history)
○ Has worked in a teaching and/or tutoring role across various age groups (2-65+)
