About Vikram
I am a graduate of Media Studies, English Literature and Psychology. I have completed a credited course in English Language Teaching from Christ University. Who the class is for- 1) Students with basic and intermediate English proficiency. (A1 level) 2) Standard 1 and Standard 2 students of English medium 3) Students that have English as a second language (Standard 8/9 for students not from English medium) I use three main methods of teaching English- 1) Lexical Approach - Focus on words that are most commonly used, in realistic scenarios. 2) Total Physical Response - Teaching based on fun activities and games which require physical movement to facilitate learning. 3) Community Language Learning - Emphasis on Student and Teacher bond. The learner's mother tongue will be used (when applicable) for translation purposes. Structure of Class: Total - 60 minutes 20 minutes - Introduction and Activity 1. 30 minutes - In depth about a specific topic. 10 minutes - Revision.
