About Yoselin
Hello! My name is Yoselin, and I’m a passionate film producer and educator with over 10 years of experience in the industry. I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Producing from the New York Film Academy and a Master’s in Education with a focus on Educational Innovation. I currently teach filmmaking and acting for film at the college level, and my professional background includes work in short films, television, and digital media. My teaching blends creative exploration with real-world production practices, always tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. What drives me as a tutor is helping others grow their voice and vision as storytellers. I bring both industry knowledge and a strong foundation in innovative teaching methods to every lesson. As a tutor, I offer a hands-on, creative, and student-centered approach grounded in over 10 years of experience as a film producer and educator. My lessons focus on real-world production skills—whether that’s pre-production planning, directing actors, or managing a film set. I design each session around your goals and learning style, using scripts, breakdowns, and case studies to bring industry practices to life. I believe in learning by doing, encouraging collaboration, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving.
I hold an MFA in Producing from NYFA and currently teach filmmaking and acting for film at the college level. I work with high school and university students, aspiring filmmakers, and creative professionals looking to deepen their knowledge of film and TV production. Bilingual in English and Spanish, I create an inclusive learning space where students at any level can build confidence and develop the skills needed to thrive in the industry.
