About Henry
I have been building software professionally for over 10 years. During that time I have worked across startups, freelance projects, and established companies, building real products from the ground up and contributing to teams where quality and delivery both matter.
I started teaching because I noticed a gap between how coding is taught and how it is actually practiced in the industry. Most courses teach you syntax. What they rarely teach you is how to think like a developer, how to structure your work, how to debug confidently, and how to use the tools professionals rely on every day including AI coding tools like Cursor.
That professional background is what I bring into every lesson. When I explain a concept, I back it with real examples from projects I have actually shipped, not textbook scenarios. When you make a mistake in your code, I know exactly how to help you understand it because I have made and fixed those same mistakes in production environments.
I have worked on my own apps, freelanced for clients across different industries, and built internal tools inside companies. That range means I can speak to your goals whether you want to land your first developer job, build your own product, or understand the codebase your team is already working on.
