About Sahil
I am a trained Kathak dancer with strong technical expertise, along with training in Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and Folk dance. Currently, I am teaching in an academy in Dehradun and have successfully trained many students in both schools and academies. Over the years, I have performed at prestigious platforms such as Doordarshan, IIT Roorkee, the G20 event, and many other major stages. My dedication to dance has also earned me several awards and recognitions. With my experience as both a performer and a teacher, I focus on nurturing students through a structured yet creative approach, helping them build strong foundations, confidence, and expressive artistry in every performance.

My teaching methods are designed to balance discipline, technique, and creativity. I follow a step-by-step approach, starting from basics and gradually building advanced skills, so students never feel left behind. Each class includes proper warm-ups, technical training, choreography, and expressive practice. I also personalize lessons according to every student’s pace—whether beginner or advanced—so learning becomes smooth and enjoyable. By blending traditional depth of Kathak and Semi-Classical with the energy of Contemporary, Folk, Hip-Hop, and Bollywood, I ensure students gain strong foundations, confidence, and stage presence. The goal is not just to learn dance steps, but to grow as expressive and versatile performers.
