About Sony
I'm a freelance ESOL trainer and an experienced university faculty member in Computer Science who has worked with learners from diverse backgrounds — school and college students, working professionals, homemakers, and absolute beginners. My teaching style is simple, practical, and highly learner-focused. I believe that every student has a different pace and purpose, and my job is to guide, support, and simplify the journey for them. I don’t want you to just ‘know English.’ I want you to feel comfortable using it — whether it’s in a classroom, a meeting room, or a coffee shop I don’t want you to just ‘know English.’ I want you to feel comfortable using it — whether it’s in a classroom, a meeting room, or a coffee shop

As an ESOL trainer and educator, I often tell my students this:
"You don’t learn a language to pass an exam. You learn it to express yourself, connect with others, and live more freely in the world."
That’s exactly how I design my English classes — practical, simple, and focused on helping you use English in real life, not just understand grammar rules on paper.
You Can Expect :
A relaxed, encouraging space where you're never afraid to make mistakes
Lots of speaking practice, because fluency comes from doing, not just learning
Clear, simple explanations for grammar and vocabulary — always with examples you can relate to
Useful topics like how to speak at work, handle daily conversations, write emails, or prepare for interviews
Personalized attention, so every class feels relevant to your goals
I use a mix of techniques that suit learners at different levels — from absolute beginners to working professionals:
Real-world communication: We practice how English is actually used — not textbook dialogues.
Task-based learning: You’ll learn through everyday situations — from shopping to presentations.
Confidence-building: I gently correct mistakes and help you build natural fluency over time.
So if you're looking for an English class that feels more like a friendly conversation and less like a boring lecture — you're in the right place.
