About Thomas
I am a creative and technically minded tutor with a background in film, media production, and beginner IT support. I enjoy helping people learn new skills by making complex ideas easier to understand through practical examples and hands-on guidance.
With experience in film production, creative projects, and technology, I bring a combination of creativity, problem-solving, and communication skills to my lessons. I am patient, approachable, and passionate about helping students build confidence, whether they are learning storytelling, media skills, digital tools, or developing their first steps in technology.

My lessons are designed to be practical, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple steps, using hands-on activities, examples, and real-world projects to help students build confidence and develop useful skills.
Lessons are generally 60 minutes and can be adjusted depending on the student’s goals and experience level. I provide tutoring for beginner learners in areas including film production, digital media, storytelling, creative technology, and basic IT skills.
I have a Bachelor of Creative Industries from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), a Diploma of Screen and Media from TAFE Queensland, practical experience in film production, and completed Google’s Technical Support Fundamentals course. My teaching style is supportive, patient, and focused on helping students learn at their own pace.
