About Marco
Hello, my name is Marco, I'm Italian, but I've been living abroad for 12 years (the Netherlands and, currently, Spain).
I have two years of experience teaching my language and I have a certificate in teaching Italian to foreigners (CEDILS). Although it's not my main job, I'm very excited to continue teaching!
The main goal of learning a foreign language is communication, and I'm convinced that understanding the culture of the country and the people who speak that language is fundamental in communicating with them.
Furthermore, in order for communication to be effective, it also has to be correct, so it's important to develop the four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. However, my method adapts to each student's needs and their individual learning style.
I have learned several languages myself (7) and I know very well what the challenges and difficulties are, but I've also refined techniques to overcome them, and I'll be happy to share them!

Learning a foreign language not only teaches you how to communicate, but also allows you to discover a country, a culture, and a different way of thinking.
I teach Italian preferably in person in Madrid, or online. My method is communicative, but I'm also adapting to each student's needs and learning style, while still developing all four basic skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) so you can get to speak effectively and correctly.
