About Karla
I have been teaching for more than 7 years, so I assure you that we will find the best way for you to learn.
We will learn basic reading (hiragana and katakana) in an entertaining way, vocabulary, everyday phrases and some occasional songs.

I work with the Marugoto and Minna no nihongo methods as a guide, but most of the activities will be games and other dynamics. I can also adapt to your method if you have been studying with someone else.
I work with kids from the age of 10, adolescents and adults of all ages.
Ideally I suggest to form study groups of at least two people, but if you prefer individual classes there is no problem for me.

Perfect! I did group sessions with Karla and they were great. Since my friend and I were on different levels but overall beginners she was able to make sure we both learned at a good pace. Her teaching style is great as she gives various examples and make sure we go through exercises in class. She was so great that I actually decided to ask her to teach us both Japanese and Spanish. If you're a beginner in either language I definitely would recommend her.

LA MEJOR OPCIÓN!!!!!
Llevo conociendo a Karla desde la prepa y puedo decir que no solamente es una persona responsable y apasionada por la materia, sino que está comprometida a enseñar y llevar el conocimiento a las personas que se lo piden. Karla tiene la disposición, paciencia y experiencia de años dando clases en diversas materias y trabajando con diferentes grupos de personas abarcando varios rangos de edad e intereses desde música, matemáticas e idiomas. Es sin duda una de las mejores opciones que hay para acercarte al japonés; es más, ya ni busques otras opciones.Karla es una excelente sensei, sus clases siempre son muy divertidas, interesantes y su material de apoyo es muy bueno. Siempre estoy esperando la siguiente clase. :)
Llevo un año estudiando japonés con Karla, y desde la primer clase me pareció una maestra muy dedicada. Todas las clases son entretenidas y siempre busca la forma de aprovechar las habilidades de cada alumno para aprender de la mejor forma.
La recomiendo muchoEs mi actual profesora de japonés y la recomiendo muchísimo, es dedicada y muy didáctica, las clases las prepara con antelación y es muy eficiente en cuanto al tiempo de aprendizaje del idioma que desees estudiar :)

$160 mexican pesos rate is for Latin America (approx. 8 USD). For other countries the rate would be 10 USD or its equivalent in your local currency.
If you need to cancel a session, you'll have a chance to reschedule the next 5 days with no extra cost, as long as its avaliable and you let me know with at least 12 hours in advance.
*Up to one time every 5 sessions. Starting from the second time, the session will not be rescheduled.
