About Catalina

I've been creating with yarn and fiber for over 15 years, exploring everything from knitting and crochet to embroidery, weaving, and traditional lace making techniques such as bobbin lace and tatting. I'm endlessly curious about the ways different materials, tools, and techniques can be used to create something beautiful and personal.

As a maker, I love both the satisfaction of mastering a new skill and the joy of experimenting along the way. As a teacher, I want to share that same sense of discovery with others. Whether you're picking up needles for the first time or looking to expand your creative repertoire, I'd love to welcome you to my craft table!

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to your interests, experience level, and goals. We can work through the fundamentals together, practice a technique you're struggling with, or develop a project from the first stitch to the finishing touches.

I offer instruction in knitting, crochet, embroidery, weaving, and bobbin lace, with an emphasis on building practical skills, understanding your materials and tools, and growing your confidence as a maker. My approach is relaxed, encouraging, and hands-on: there's room to ask questions, learn at your own pace, and discover what you enjoy creating most. You don't need to be an expert—or even know where to begin. Just bring your curiosity, and we'll take it one stitch at a time.
